I have M5A78L LE Motherboard and it supports dual channel. I have 16 gigs of ram but how i put them to dual channel. i tried both slots on mobo but still cpu-z says it is single channel. sry my bad english

Solution
1) Clear the CNOS, then check again.
2) If you use the Win7 Home Basic version, because it can only support up to 8GB so that you have the single channel mode.

They need to have shared timings. Not any two sticks will support dual channel. You can manually edit the timings in the BIOS to force them to match, but better to err on the side of caution, ie slow one down to the looser settings of the other.
