Where could I save some money on my PC?
I'm going to build a gaming pc and I already have some parts.

Currently I have selected these parts:

Intel Core i5 6500 processor
Evga gtx 1060 3gb graphics card
Msi h110m gaming mobo
Crucial ballistix 8gb ddr4 RAM

Should I buy cheaper parts or not?

Those parts will make a nice budget gaming PC. The best you're going to be able to do is check a number of places for the lowest price. You might get the video card cheaper if you don't mind using a B Stock card from EVGA when they become available.

What prices are you paying? Knowing parts and prices is needed if we are going to help.

If anything I'd drop the CPU down another notch or two. How much money are you trying to shave?

LOL, listing county would help as well then. Doesn't do us any good to link Newegg or other sites that don't ship international.

Overall those prices look "right". CPU is a bit high, but nothing looks really bad. For your country that might be what you need to spend.

Pretty much your only option if you need to save money is to drop to an i3 6100.

Which is all fairness isn't as bad as it sounds as its still a really strong performer the majority of the time.

Looks like matt shaved a few more dollars off. People at least now know where you live and can look for other cheaper parts. Not sure if you guys have big sales over there, but now is a good time to buy parts here in the states. If you just can't spend that much money I suggest getting a good board and CPU. Buy the best GPU you can, and upgrade it again when you have more money.
