Hey guys
So I've had some problems for a number of months and I've always suspected my RAM as the perpetrator. After a few months of use my Windows 10 will just start experiencing random issues, such as errors and missing DLLs.
I've used memtest86 and tested each individual stick and found nothing wrong with them. Also every piece of software I've tried has so far said that my SSD is in perfect condition. All the reading I've done seems to say that bad RAM can be hard to detect and is still an enigma today (My Father has said it was a nightmare in the old days).
This morning my PC experienced a BSOD and after starting again it appeared normal, I've had BSODs in the past due to my OC but my OC has been stable for the last few months now. Later today a drawing app (Krita) failed to launch and failed to locate some DLL, I reinstalled and it seemed to work fine. Now my Start menu will not work at all and this is the ultimate issue that has forced me to reinstall before. I reinstalled Windows this last time with only 2 sticks and it ran for a while like that with no issues I can remember, then maybe 3 months ago I put my other two sticks back in (any issues I experienced i just attributed to Windows being Windows).
One of the reasons I suspect the RAM is faulty is due to the fact that I can't run it at it's rated frequency at it's rated voltage. XMP will always cause a crash and I can only get it up to 1866 Mhz if I manually set the timings and push the voltage up to 1.6-1.65V, it's supposed to be 1.5V

OCZ Vertex 460A 240GB
MSI z97s Krait Edition
Sapphire R9 390
Antec Edge 750W
Any advice would be really appreciated as I don't really know what is causing this. I don't want to go out and buy new RAM to find out that wasn't the issue at all. Thanks
