I have the $44.99 - Cooler Master Hyper 212X – CPU Cooler with dual 120mm PWM Fan

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13C-000X-00037&cm_re=Coolermaster_212-_-13C-000X-00037-_-Product

Haven't installed it yet, because of concerns for memory height clearance with the new AsRock Extreme6 MB inside a Fractal Design R5 Black with window case.

Everyone keep comparing the newer coolers to the original Evo, but not sure how it does with these?

Is it worth upgrading to any of these as so far I'm using a stock cooler...

You can't go wrong with the CRYORIG H7, and it's on sale at a great price at Newegg at the moment.

The Cryorig H7 has no issues with RAM clearance and will be able to keep your i7-4790k well within safe temperatures even when slightly overclocked. It is also extremely easy to install.

Edit: The H5 Ultimate is also a great choice if you want to safely cover a more aggressive overclock.

Also this ARCTIC Freezer i30 is the Extreme edition and says Fluid Dynamic Bearing and a 320W Cooling Capacity...

Not sure how that's possible to test...?

I believe the 212X out-performs most of those coolers, but if it won't fit, you obviously can't use it so performance is irrelevant. The Cryorig coolers are nice in that they tend to have better memory clearance, so they might be your best bet. I'm thinking the H7 will be plenty.

Fluid dynamic bearing is just marketing speak saying that it has a fan with bearings in it, it has nothing to do with its cooling capacity. 320w is a statement of how much heat they rate it to dissipate, but that number seems suspiciously high and is probably nonsense.

They use different fans. The universal uses a slimmer fan to avoid memory conflicts.

The ultimate has a memory restriction of up to 35mm (adjustable fan position), while the Universal has 0 memory conflicts no matter what RAM you use. If you're worried about your RAM hitting the heatsink go with the Universal, the cooling is still great and the difference between the Ultimate is negligible.
