Solution Isokolon Nov 25, 2016 the AMD FX is a 95W TPD CPU the i7 is 91W but it comes without a cooler. so if you don't got a decent cooler, you need to buy one. like the Cryorig H7.

Isokolon Judicious Jul 24, 2016 6,370 112 34,390 Nov 25, 2016 #7 when keeping your CPU it doesn't make any sense buying a 1080 as your CPU will limit the max FPS also CPUs depend on a socket. all B150 / H170 / Z170 boards are LGA1151 while your CPU is AM3+ so only AM3+ boards support your CPU however I strongly advise to drop some cash on a new CPU otherwise that GPU upgrade is just a waste of money Upvote 0 Downvote
