Hi,

So based off the idea that it's possible to stream your games at a low enough latency to play them without much issue I have been sitting on my laptop (OSX, can install bootcamp if nec) thinking "gee I would sure like the power of my work PC with me on the couch".

I assume there must be solutions for said problem, and in fact are there not workplaces where workers exclusively use remote systems?

Anyway, I have been googling for a bit but I was hoping to skip the 'install 50 different pieces of software to test them' stage and maybe mine the hive mind a bit.

TLDR: What is the best solution with low latency for streaming/remote desktop-ing my PC to my laptop so I can work on the couch. I dont mind paying a bit if it gets me a much better solution, but I much prefer freeware.

If both computers are connected to same network (router), nothing will beat Microsoft' Remote Desktop. You will need a Pro version of Windows on your work PC, and a RDP client for your Mac.
