Hello,

I recently upgraded to an i5 6600k with a z170 a pro motherboard.

The first time it booted fine, installed the drivers etc through the disk I received but on the checklist of updates with green ticks there were numerous red crosses.

Originally I didn't see a problem when using it other than mouse lag. I then received an error with regards to my gpu which is an r9 380, the error was about opengl.

I turned my pc off earlier, now I have turned it back on and I am getting no power to my mouse or keyboard, but I do have monitor signal.

I have tried all usb ports and I'm not getting anything.

Also the power button flashes now, I do not remember it doing so before.

Any and all help for the problems above would be appreciated.

I am guessing they arent PS/2, first check if you arent plugging a USB 3.0 into a USB 2.0 port, but you probobly arent since z170 supports USB 3.1, what is your power of the PSU, and have you used other input hardware besides the given mouse and kb, try reconnecting all power cables that go to your MOBO, and change the power socket for PC.

I am using usb. My psu power is 550w, I will reconnect all of my power cables. No other input hardware has been used.
