How to bridge Hitron CGNM3552 and Asus RT-AC66R?

I've recently purchased 2 powerline adapters, and have my modem/router the Hitron connected to one and the the other adapter connected to the Asus router.

Now, doing so I ended up with 2 SSIDs for 2.4ghz and 2 SSIDS for 5ghz. How would I bridge these 2 routers? I intend to have the asus router copy the SSIDs of the Hitron router and simply extend it's wireless connection, or would this be a bad idea?

This is what the bridge page on the Asus router looks like http://i.imgur.com/K7L507e.png
From what I can tell, I can only bridge either 2.4ghz or 5ghz? As there is no option to select both bands or is there a work around for this? I was fiddling with the bridge settings on the asus router but it appears to do nothing as there are still 4 SSIDs , so I'm not exactly sure how to bridge the 2 routers.

You are in the wrong area. That is used to make the asus into a wireless repeater. There is I am pretty sure a option to make the device run as a AP...it is a form of bridging. I forget where I load asuswrt-merlin on all my asus routers so the screens look different.

If you can't find it you can use the method that works on most any router. Use the LAN port rather than the lan. Disable the DHCP, set the lan ip to the same subnet as the main router and assign a IP that does not conflict with the main router.

After that you can set the SSID to anything you want. Having them the same or different between the routers is up to you. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. Don't expect it to seamless roam between them you...
