(Black Friday) 1TB SSD or two 500GB SSD? (gaming) Both are Samsung brands

I can not pick whether I want to do the 1 TB SSD or have two 500 GB ssds and have my games on one and everything else on another. Is the performance worth it or should I grab the 1 TB SSD? Links to them are below.

Pick the 1tb option.
Larger ssd devices perform a bit better and have better endurance.

Do not even consider using two ssd devices in raid-0.
Raid-0 has been over hyped as a performance enhancer.
Sequential benchmarks do look wonderful, but the real world does not seem to deliver the indicated performance benefits for most
desktop users. The reason is, that sequential benchmarks are coded for maximum overlapped I/O rates.
It depends on reading a stripe of data simultaneously from each raid-0 member, and that is rarely what we do.
The OS does mostly small random reads and writes, so raid-0 is of little use there.
There are some apps that will benefit. They are characterized by reading large files in a sequential overlapped manner.

To be honest, I usually get an SDD for Windows and games, then just get an HDD for everything else. Reliable HDDs like the WD Black and WD Blue series are much cheaper for the capacity than any SSDs are.

I was not gonna use them for a raid 0. I was basically gonna use them like you use a ssd and hdd.

Either way.

Differences:
2 x 500GB
1 for the OS and application, 1 for games, docs, videos.

If you need to reinstall the OS, nothing on the other drive is touched

1 x 1TB
Everything on one drive.
A bit faster and longer endurance.
1 drive letter.

Personally, I prefer multiple physical drives. Each for their own purpose. YMMV.
