Hi, about 5 months ago something zapped in my computer while I was playing a game (I'm assuming the motherboard). The PC would turn on, all the lights and fans would be running, but the monitor couldent find a signal. Reading around I found that the motherboard needed go be replaced, so after months of saving I finally purchased a new motherboard only to find that it wasn't the problem. The monitor displays nothing but "no signal".
All the cables look fine and are connected properly, the gpu's fans are running, and switching the monitor from the GPU to the motherboard dosent work.

Any ideas?

the only 3 things that can make the new board dead is the cpu or gpu or ram because we know it not the board it either those 3 it could be also the power supply if you got a cheap ones. but if their no beeps it maybe the cpu because I know if the cpu doesn't work their no beeps it just turns on.

I took it to a PC repair shop and they tested all of my other equipment and said that the new motherboard is probably the problem.

I had no idea the mounting screws on the motherboard distributed electrical current, so I most likely ended up frying it by only mounting it with 3 screws.
