GTX 770 has died; Haven't made any upgrades since original build 4 years ago. Not experiencing any other issues; have not overclocked CPU, and not entirely comfortable with doing so. I figure I would make all my dream upgrades that I wasn't able to do during the first build at this time. That would mean: replace the power supply and video card, expand ram...add another SSD, add another HDD. Then I realized I am basically on a complete rebuild other than MOBO and processor.

Is it worth it to also replace those, or should I tone down the upgrade plan? I haven't wanted to upgrade to windows 10 and the hassle of making sure my info isn't lost in the process is the largest thing holding me back. What will new processor/new mobo really cost me as far as transfering everything as is?

Unless you got a HEDT based cpu (currently up to Broadwell-E 10 cores unless you really pay up and get Xeons) it is not really worth getting a new cpu IMO. I would just get a new GPU and call it good for now.

+1 utroz just add new video plus whatever drives you want. Really nice build. Not sure you want to be going to more than 16 GB memory - not many workloads can see benefit from more. Great time to be adding a new GPU with rx 480 and gtx 1070 available. Maybe if you are on a 1080P monitor it's time to upgrade that to freesync or G-sync 4K monitor as you upgrade video - or goto second / third display.

Also check the warranty duration on that 770. Think it's 3 years... Maybe you get a replacement ? Nice PSU and your case has great cooling so it's a shame the card died.
