Morning and Happy thanks giving

My Rig
Processor: AMD FX8320
Motherboard: Asus M5 A99FX Pro R2.0 with Asus UEFI boot Bios
Ram: 32 Gig DDR3
Video Card: Radeon R9 200 Series (PCIe 2.0 x16 slot, blue color)
Sound Card : Creative Blaster Z (PCIe x4 mode, black color)

Os: Win 8.1

Problem:

So what I am trying to do is to have my Computer bootup as soon as I switch on the power. I usually switch off the power to the tower when I go to sleep. I have Alexa (Amazon Echo ) to switch on the power but the computer wont booth up because I have to press the button on the tower to fire up the computer.

What I am trying to do is to have it all automated so when I call out to Alexa to switch on the power supply, it also kicks the bootup from shutdown status so that I can have the Rig running with one command. But, Alas, its not working as I want to.

I went into Asus UEFI Bios ---> Advanced --> APM ---> Switch on After Power loss and set it to enabled.. but it still wont boot up the machine. I have all other APM options disabled.

Any suggestion as to how to do this? I have read through the manual and tried a few different things and nothing works. the option of switching on by RTC is not going to work for me because i dont want a timed start, I want it to start at whenever there is power..

Any suggestions?

Solution
As far as I'm aware, there is no way to bypass the need to press the PC's front power button in order to boot from a full shutdown state (certainly not automatically anyway).
