so basically 9 times out of 10 i will launch with 4gb of ram and it says that the rest of it is being reserved
but then sometimes the whole 8 gigs is being used and none is reserved
but every-time i go in the bios and just look at the ram settings and stuff i always boot with 8 gb AND I NEVER CHANGED ANY SETTINGS!

ive already tried the msconfig thing and yes im using a 64bit os

AMD FX-8350 EVGA GTX 970 HyperX 8Gb ddr3 Corsair Bronze certified 750WAT 1 TB
WD BLUE 120 GB Kingston SSD NZXT S340 Gigabyte Ultra Durable 4 Classic GA-970A-D3P

Well, there's no need for you to be rude about it buddy. Trying to help here, if you want some, then at least show some respect, a bit is all i ask. Trying to help here.
I mean't to say if you really did check for the msconfig setting.
And as for the 32-bit part I didn't read that part. I read the others but that one.
Just because you boot with 8GB of ram in bios, doesnt mean your ram is actually good.
If you don't want help, then I'm not helping you. Get the other guy to help.

Not that it offended me or you were exactly really being rude, but there's no need to be like "don't say anything if you don't know what you're talking about"
I did know what you were talking about, I just meant to say if you really did double check for the msconfig option and
I didn't read the 64-bit os part, that's all.
