This is my first post on here, you all have been really helpful in the past but I can't find much on my current problems. I have two problems today, the first one is the fact that my pc keeps shutting down whenever I play a game. It boots up okay but whenever I get anything that strains my system it just shuts down, the fans stay on but I loose power to my keyboard and completely stops displaying stuff. My power supply fan is not turning on at all and it feels extremely hot near the back. My second problem is my graphics card, I'm trying to put in a asus gtx 560 and it will not display a thing. I ended up throwing in a really old graphics card to get it to display but the new cards fan will turn on but it won't display a thing. Thank you guys so much for any help at all, and please feel free to ask any question I know this was a very brief description.

ASRock 970 motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965
8 GB DDR3 ram 1600 crucial ballistix
Cooler master hyper 212 evo CPU fan

Greetings!

It sounds like the PSU may be the culprit. If you have access to another PSU (maybe borrow one from a friend for a few minutes), I would test with it to see if you have the same issues, both with the shut down and with the gtx 560...also make sure you have the proper drivers intalled for the 560 as well. Try that first and let us know if you see a different result, if not, we can troubleshoot more from there, but this is the easiest test to conduct first.

Hope this helps!
