while being able to keep things running in notebooks. My current attempt

-Use SSD

-Remove Hardisk

-Use 1 stick of RAM (Maybe)

-Use lower screen resolution (I don’t want anything lower than 1366x768 or 720p)

-Use U or Y series Processors of i3 or i5

-Use Integrated GPU

-Use smaller screen (13″ or 14″)

-Dim the screen

-Turn off sounds

-No touch screen

-Turn off unused features

Things that I can’t do.

-Buy a Macbook (IOS)

-Using Core M processors

Any other suggestion? are M.2 SSD more power efficient than regular SATA III SSD?
how do I find the the comparison for power consumption between SAMSUNG 850 EVO M.2 SATA 250GB and SAMSUNG 850 EVO SATA III 250GB

i am not sure what the percentage you would save would be but you're guaranteed to save some since an SSD drive has no movable parts. the platters in a HDD would be running almost all the time

The laptop I want to buy provide M.2 slot. and has 1TB seagate 7200RPM. if I remove the Hard drive and just use SSD, how much power condumption do I save? do I get like extra 1 hour or 2 hour battery life if I use Samsung 850 evo? if there is another low power SSD, could you mention any of those?
