Monitor losing signal and random restarts

Hello people, i builded my PC a couple of months ago and it has been working like a charm until these past few days.
First happened when i was playing Diablo 3, the monitor lose signal, i was able to listen in game sounds and skype but the monitor lose all signal forcing me to restart. This keep happening at random times with Diablo and WoW. Also the PC restart itself a couple times while playing and when i was just surfing the web.
Today i oppened the gabinet and played 2 or 3 hours without the GPU and i had 0 problem, i played 2 o 3 hours more with the GPU connected and no problem. I closed the gabinet and my brother played 5 minutes of WoW and the computer restarted itself.
I run a stress test with the aida64 for only 10 minutes, the moment i turn it off and closed the programboom, monitor lose signal.
I have no idea what to do, how can i test individual components to check whats the problem? I tried using furmark but the moment i started the test the computer restarted.

Hi logain thanks for your answer.
My first thought was to check the temps and fans and they are all working fine and the temperatures are ok. GPU in between 55 and 68 ºC while gaming and the i5 never gets hotter than 45ºC.

I removed the 970 and i'm trying to use the PC without it and see whats happends. My brother just tested the 970 in some friends computer playing some games and with furmakr. He did the test for 17 minutes and never it never past the 68ºC. Is that enough time?

Becouse of the resets i was thinking its the PSU fault, i read it was a good PSU, not top quality but more than enough for my built and for gaming. You recomend to update to a better product? I'm from Argentina and electronic devices ar expensive. Is there a way to test the PSU response without compromising any other component?

You can try and rule out ram, with memtest, and hdd health with crystaldisk. If the system is rebooting, or shutting down, as soon as you put any kind of load on it, the PSU would be my best guess. The fact that the 970 ran, in a different system, leads me to believe that it is fine.

Yes but they only tried with the furmark for 15 minutes and played CSGO for half an hour so i wouln't be so sure, In my system y actualy played for 3 hours before any sintoms. I'll try those test and update with the results. Thanks for the help, really appreciate the advice.

Hi, sorry i disapear but i had finals and shit.
The PSU and the GPU are both fine, i tried the 970 in another system and it ran fine.
I used the computer without GPU this month until last week. I tried to turn it on and only the front led lights(from the hdd and i don't know what else) started, the PC didnt start so i took the PSU to the store, they run some test and its fine, they are changing the product if i want but the PSU its working fine. I'm clueless now.
The MOBO is the cheapest one i could find what works, could it be the product thats failing?
