I want to buy the EVGA 1050ti but i do not think it will fit in my asrock motherboard h61m-hvs. The Dimensions for the graphics card is 5.70" x 4.38". While my motherboard is only 8.9" x 6.8"
the part of the card that plugs into the board is always going to be the right size to fit into the PCIE slot on the motherboard. extremely low end cards sometimes have half length connector sections, but that card is not one. If you measure the length of a PCIE slot finger and the length of the slot you will see they fit. PCIE is a universal slot agreed upon by every manufacture who uses it.
don't worry the card can be longer then the motherboard, it just has to fit into the PCIE slot, which it will.
and don't worry about PCIE2.0 versus the 3.0 card, it is backwards compatible, and there will be no performance hit.

I'm sorry are you sure? physically the card is half the width of the whole motherboard
