If i have 4gb of ram and a gpu with 2gb of vram is it like having 6gb of ram while gaming?

No not really because the 2gb of vram is to render the display for the computer when you use it like to play games whereas the 6gb of ram is solely for the system to use but not the gpu

Better than 1GB of Vram, or 2GB of normal ram, yes.

But what's holding the 2GB of vram, and what are you comparing that to?
