I just got done building my new pc, i went into bios and started to download windows 10 fine. It reset itself during windows installation. And now when It turns on, the fans turn on, the lights turn on, but will not even boot. There is no loose connection and have tried all the basic things to fix. Oh and my keyboard won't even light up.

Remove the power cable from your computer and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Then plug the power cable back in and turn the computer on by pressing the power button.

Ive done that and i even reset the board by taking out the cmos battery out for 30ish minutes, ive tried everything and all the lights are good except for the boot light, so i think im just gonna send it back and get a replacement. it is just weird because it was working fine till it reset itself during windows update.

How many sticks of RAM have you got in there? If two sticks then I would take one stick out and try one stick at a time, it could be the RAM which is causing the issue I mean it's better to try the little things first.

I've don't that, swapped out both ram and put them into different slots one at a time. I've done all the little things, but my water cooler is pumping and fans are one so I know that the board is getting power. So I'm pretty sure it's the motherboard, I'm still just confused that it booted up and was downloading windows, then reset and now won't boot.

I also suspect the motherboard, if the PSU is working fine. Does the computer make any odd beeps when you power up?
