Hi all,

Sorry to ask, but I need some help!

I have recently been having some problems with 'options boxes' being clear. For example when I right click on chrome, all the options can't be seen? Only the shadow around the edge. This is the same in every program and even on the windows task bar.

I am using Windows 10 with a GTX 970 and my Monitor is hooked up via HDMI.

I thought this might be to do with the graphics card somehow?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately this doesn't work, I am regularly shutting down and have checked the ram usage. Always reappears.

Sounds more like a setting in Windows 10 to me. I only have Win 7, but you could try this: right-click on desktop, choose personalize, select window color, un-check Enable Transparency.

Another option: Control panel/Performance info&tools/Adjust visual effects/visual effects tab/ select "let windows choose what's best for my computer"

Worth a shot...

Thanks for your input. Unfortunately it's clear this isn't a setting as it doesn't happen all the time.
