alright so i have ax4u3000w4g16-bgz 2x4 (8gb ram) and i want to put more in my rig, can i put these in with it? ax4u3000w4g16-dgz

That would be the way to go. XMP should simply set the DRAM up, however as mentioned, with 3000 stick - to run at 3000 - it may require a bit of an OC of the CPU

im just going to get this for my mobo Z170A SLI PLUS, i have bios version 1.7 do you think ill have any problems clocking it to 3k? or i might get the Dominator® Platinum Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit (CMD16GX4M2B3000C15) think ill have problems with that one?

i have a 6700k ocd to 4.5 watercooled but i cant seem to turn of the turbo thingy so its jumpy really thinking about getting the dominator

i was thinking about just taking the adatas out and fully replacing them with the dominators, now with xmp does that oc just ram? or does it oc the cpu as well
