New Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Acting Weird

So I recently just bought a new wireless keyboard and mouse combo on eBay from Best Buy (Strangely can't find it on eBay again). When I got it I got all happy since it was the first time I actually owned my own wireless keyboard and mouse, but that all ended when I used it for the first 20 minutes or so. For some reason at times the keyboard wouldn't type anything even if I kept pressing the connect button on it (Same for the mouse). So I'm having troubles with it even as I'm typing with it at the moment. Also I've changed the batteries multiple times and it has still not worked, and I've done some research and found out that other wireless devices might have been interfering but all I've got near it is my phone (barely use it while I'm on the computer) and my router. All help would be appreciated.

Get the phone even further away - just to eliminate the phone as a possible source of interference.

Make and model keyboard and mouse? What receiver do you have? Small USB device or some other USB receiver sitting up somewhere?

Find the manufacturer's website and download the applicable drivers. Reinstall.

If you have one of those very small receivers plugged directly into a USB port try using an USB cable to raise or bring the receiver up from behind the PC.

Not sure about buying "on eBay from Best Buy". Could be that you purchased from a bogus source and the product is defective....

Although I couldn't find any drivers to download or update, the phone method made fixed most of it, so now it's not as frequent, so you technically solved it. Thanks!
