Top RAM speed for ASUS P8H67-M EVO motherboard

After I upgraded my ASUS P8H67-M EVO motherboard BIOS to version 3703, higher RAM speeds started to appear as selectable options in BIOS, even though the manual states that this motherboard can only take 1333 MHz RAM. Does this mean I can now use faster RAM with this MB? (BTW, I tried to ask ASUS, but their support system is just too convoluted to be usable.)
