*Im almost at the point where Im pulling my hair*

Alright so Im 4 days in to my PC build, trying to install an operating system. I have a 4 GB USB stick formatted in FAT32 with a Windows 7 installer on it. (made with rufus)
My hard drive is empty, which means no operating system at all.

When I boot from the USB I have two options: either an UEFI version of the USB or just the USB. The "normal" version tries to boot, then gives me "NTLDR is missing" error. The UEFI version launches the installer but freezes on "Windows is starting" with the logo flashing.

I have tried:
Disabled/enabled CSM
Booting in legacy only mode
Booting in UEFI only mode
Changing USB stick to a 16 GB version
NTFS format

Specs:
ASUS GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
8 GB DDR3 RAM
Intel core i5 6500
ASUS B150-PRO D3

I would love some tips on how to solve this, its getting rather irritating.
Thanks

I tried with both a legitimate copy and a pirated ISO. I also cant seem to find a folder called i386, at least not in the pirated version. Should there be? I will see if there is one in the genuine ISO tomorrow
