I just bought an Samsung 850, 250GB Evo ssd and when I installed windows 7 and all my programs I made sure all the steps to extend the life of my sdd was taken care of like disable the superfetch service and went into the registry and disabled the prefetcher and I made sure trim is enabled and achi ittge drive was going fast at first now when I'm doing the windows updates now the drive is going slow. Is there a way to get it fast again? I look forward to hearing from you guys thanks.

Solution
you should not worry about "prolonging" SSD life.
it will normally outlive many other components in your system. in few years you will replace it anyway for a larger and faster one.
Just stop messing with settings. do clean install of windows 10 (you can still upgrade for free) in UEFI mode
