Hi! I have a Corsair H100i GTX but i have very little tech knowledge (but i like to play big games). I have to clean (format ssd) reinstall Windows7 for the first time since i got this pc, but im unsure if i should know something about the cooler before i do so... Like, will it run just fine without me specifically doing something with it? Not talking about Corsair Link i use that and i will reinstall it but what about drivers, correct installation or... something.... problem is i dont know if there is something to know....

You dont need to uninstall or wipe or reinstall anything. Its simply a case of removing your old cooler, clearing the thermal paste off the CPU, and fitting the h100i (comes with pre-applied paste). Install the radiator in a config so that it is pushing hot air out of the case. When you first turn the system on after the install any fans connected to the CPU fan connector on your motherboard will freak out until you get an up-to-date version of Corsair Link installed. After installing Corsair Link you should be able to monitor your temps and make slight adjustments as you see fit.

Good to know, i should never even touch bios.
So as long as i bring my pc to the pros whenever i buy new piece of hardware should be enough at first right? and i just deal with system as i always did (and i actually can manage their softwares even GPU OC omg ...bothered to learn and be safe, for the sake of gaming... but i lack basic tech knowledge, never had water cooler before, and i couldnt find anything on system reinstall vs cooler)

Thank you. I was concerned that i should know something specific about this new piece before i wipe the whole pc clear, as far as my touches go (not beyond whats installed on drive).

I would suggest (even if you're not confident in yourself, I don't think many people where when first fiddling with a PC) give it a try for yourself, watch some tutorial videos on YouTube, there a plenty of them and it might even become a hobby.
As Trafalgar747 said, your OS has nothing to do with the cooler.
