I wanna scrap my TOSHIBA MK5056GSY and put it into a new build would there be any problems?
if there inst/is please tell down below

P.S. can someone tell me if this is a SSD or HDD

It is a 500GB 2.5" format HDD.

That hardware will work in just about any PC. A bit slow, but it will work.


Now...if you are talking about that drive with an OS on it into a whole new PC, that is a different situation.

There should be no issues installing the drive in a desktop, if that is what you mean. When you install the new OS on it, the installation pgm. will format the drive.
But if you intend on using the drive with the current OS and all your apps on it in the new build... good luck. Probably not going to happen.
