Need to know how much power my graphics card uses.

So I have a graphics card currently and I have no idea whatsoever about how much power it uses. It's a MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 TI TWIN FROZR II/OC 2GB card instead of the 1GB version.

My other components.

CPU: AMD phenom II x6 1090t
Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: 8GB DDR3 dual channel
HDD: Seagate... 500gb 7200rpm
PSU: 500 watts.

Again I have the option for a dual power supply if necessary as I have a 300w spare power supply from my old PC.

Around 325 watts under load. I wouldn't recommend dual PSU. How are you going to turn on the second?

I would turn it on through an adapter. I have the dual 20+4 pin adapter so I can link two into the Motherboard. One has the black and green wire and the other has the rest of the cables including the black and green. Does this mean I have enough power without the second PSU or should I get a bigger one?

You have enough wattage but you're cutting it close. Assuming the real wattage delivery is good, you will have enough but we recommend against running a PSU near full load constantly.
