Hi again. I want to ask you can Asus Motherboard H16M support INTEL Core i3-4160 3.6 ghz and MSI nVidia 730. I already have this motherboard so before I buy these two I'm asking you can it support them. Also can it support 8 GB DDR3 RAM memory. Pretty much my desired well not quite low budget pc. so tell me is it good
Intel Core i3-4160 3.6 ghz
MSI nVidia 730
8 GB DDR3 RAM
1TB Memory on disk drive
it costs around 300$ :??:

EDIT: I can give you links dough you might have to translate them to understand :)

Solution
The link is provided in my previous post. It is Intel's own official information regarding the chipset which I assume your motherboard uses. It could be wrong, but the i3-4160 isn't on that list.

Further explanation: the H61 chipset is also associated with the LGA 1155 socket. The i3-4160 uses the LGA 1150 socket. This indicates a physical incompatibility between your motherboard and the i3-4160.

The H61 chipset can support an i3 processor (the i3 processors in the link), but not the i3-4160. Presently, Intel motherboards support two generations of their processors and the i3-4160 isn't grouped with the processors associated with the H61 chipset.

I checked the user guide and it says it can support i7/i5/i3 Pentium and Celeron processors. And I think it will just fit right by look at the products info and the graphics section in the guide

ahmm its actually h61m.... *facepalm*

Assuming your motherboard, whatever it may be, uses the H61 chipset, then I don't believe the i3-4160 is supported. This shows which processors are compatible with the H61 chipset and, by extension, motherboards which use it.

In this scenario, even the i7-3770 only supports two memory channels. How much RAM you can use will depend on your OS too.

Okay. What about this: CPU INTEL Core i3-4150 3.5 GHz 1150 Socket, GPU VGA MSI nVidia GT730-4GB/DDR3, RAM 8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz Apacer, And Motherboard MB BIOSTAR H81MHP2 LGA 1150 Socket?

EDIT: I'm looking these parts from a near buy store they aren't from ebay or amazon or any other site that has computer stuff, and its close to my house pritty much on my way to school but who the f*ck cares.
