Hi, it's my first time building a gaming PC and I wanted some help.

I'm mostly going to be playing Heroes of the Storm and Warframe.
Other leisure activities include: watching movies, youtube videos, Netflix, etc.
I want to keep everything less than $500 (excluding the monitor and OS)

I'm planning on using these parts

CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor
Motherboard: ASRock B150M Pro4V Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 470 4GB ARMOR OC Video Card
Case: Rosewill Line-M MicroATX Mini Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit
Other: JBtek All Black Sleeved PWM Fan Splitter Cable 1 to 2 Converter ($13.99 @ Amazon)
*The fan splitter is to connect the motherboard to the built-in fans in the case

Q1. I'm considering that motherboard because it was recommended by Paul's Hardware but my first choice was the Gigabyte GA-H110M-A. But a lot of the reviews on Amazon and Newegg mentioned DOAs and made me skeptical about it. Do you all recommend getting the Gigabyte GA-H110M-A and saving around $20?
Q2. I also need to get a monitor and the Windows 10 OS, meaning that I could use help on cutting down on the costs. Considering my needs, what can I tweak to save on the costs?
Q3. Speaking of monitors... any budget recommendations?
