I am looking for a GPU for my i5 build, I need something CHEAP. I was hoping something up in the GTX 770 (ACX Overclocked) to the core GTX 980 TI range. Pricewise I could probably do upwards of around 500$

Specs:
i5 6600K
8GB Corsair DDR4 2133
750 Watt PSU

Keep in mind that Battlefield 4, Hardline, Battlefront, Battlefield 1 are AMD optimized games.

I don't know what experience you have had in the past but I can tell you from mine that AMD Drivers (Especially the new...
$500 is not cheap for a GPU. It is actually upper tier.

What are your goals for this build? If you are going to only be gaming on a single monitor at 1080 you really don't need anything stronger than an RX 480 or GTX 1060 as both of them can max out any game at 1080p.

I'm honestly hoping to get something that can pull 60fps on Battlefield 4, Hardline, and 1 and something that'll run GTA V and Fallout 4 at about 60 FPS. I'm trying to avoid the red team because of the shitty experiences I've had in the past.

If you have a good enough CPU, this will pull 60 on almost everything on a single 4K monitor.

And this one will give you 60 on single 1080p screen.

If you have the money to do so, I'd get the 1070 because it's better and will handle a monitor upgrade better, and as games progress the harware neccicary to use them progresses too.

I don't know what experience you have had in the past but I can tell you from mine that AMD Drivers (Especially the new Crimson Edition drivers) are quite good.

As I understand it Nvidia's 'Game Ready' drivers have been problematic lately.

However if you want gaming performance beyond 1080P today you don't really have much of a choice but to go with Nvidia.
