I'm not very familiar with the term "Bottleneck," so hopefully the community can help me!
I am going to be purchasing an MSI GTX 1080 X 8G Video Card, but I own a Xeon E3-1241 V3 processor. Is it possible to use together? I really wanted a GTX 1080 for awhile, and its the right time to buy it. If not should I get a GTX 1070 or a new processor? I want to be able to game on either 4K or 1080 144Hz. I have a 550W Plus 80 GOLD PSU.
