Hello there, I have a list of parts that come to under $500 with the use of mail in rebates. It seems like a pretty solid budget build, but I always welcome tips and advice. Here's what I have right now:

For one thing, that is not a "$500" build, that's a $567 + tax build before rebates.

I would drop the disc drive and wifi adapter and you definitely need a better psu than that. The Corsair CX450M or CX550M would be an improvement. The CX600 is older and not very reliable. The GTX1050 would be a better option in that price range.

Don't Get a 1x8 memory get a 2x4 dual channel because it helps a lot for games like GTA 5 and The Witcher 3 but you can stick to a 1x8 and get another 1x8 in the near future because you don't a ram failure and have nothing else to relay on until you buy another one

I know i'm late but maybe you still need help :D
