Additional Comments:

This computer is for gaming @ 1080p 144Hz. I would like to play at the highest settings at this resolution with hopefully 150-200fps (for those of you that say fps > refresh rate doesn't matter - I'm sorry that's wrong I can get sources if you want me to but I would rather not argue about it). I will have a second monitor 1080p but just for having web/discord/reddit/etc. open during games (I don't know if this affects performance or not so I thought I would mention it).

I also stream on twitch just for fun occasionally.

Games I play: Dota2, CSGO, rainbow 6 siege, skyrim, Squad (alpha, not optimized atm), Civ 6, rocket league, overwatch, etc.

Some questions:

Is my cooler master 212 evo compatible with this?

How is my Mobo choice? I saw something about the SATA ports:
4 x SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports (gray)** ** These SATA ports are for data hard drivers only. ATAPI devices are not supported.

Does this mean that I cannot use my optical drive with this mobo? This is important to me because I like to load up older games on CDs now and then.

I don't really know how to pick out a mobo. Here is another one I looked at that is more expensive. Would this offer me anything over my current choice?

MSI MSI Gaming Z170A GAMING M7: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130872&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-BD%20Industries%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10440897&PID=7718204&SID=pchound

How is my current PSU? Is it adequate to keep using or do I need to purchase a better one?

Any other advice is welcome of course (spending too much/too little, or is there a better alternative that would make sense price/performance wise).

I also have an optical drive I will be using. My PSU is not on that list because I could not find it on the website: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006

I came up with this build on my own without knowing much about hardware so let me know if this build makes sense or if there is anything that I should change. Thanks a lot for any help!
