so im not ENTIRELY familiar with overclocking but i was sure confident to do it.
so i overclocked my i7 980x @ 3.33 Ghz to 4.635 Ghz
and its working perffectly so far.
i tried prime95 but after the first stage @ 65-70 c avg across all cores it skyrocketed to 95-100 C
not familiar with prime95 so bear with me.
but i want to know if it can be cooled that much?? would i have to go through liquid cooling?
i would love recommendations so that i cant test it properly. because i plan on going further beyond.
im using a asus rampage gene III mobo and a zalman cpns10 extreme to cool it.
