I'd be at a good consistent frame rate and like every minute or so it'll drop down to 5 or 15 fps for a couple seconds. It happens in games like Arma, CS:GO, battlefield, and it's not a gpu issue cause I just got a new graphics card (GTX 1050 Ti) and new ram. I've got 700w psu, fx 8320, msi 970a g43, windows 10 and 16gb of ram. I can't figure out why at all. (I'm assuming it's a cpu problem)

What temp is your CPU when this happens? Could be that you just need to reapply some thermal paste..

Definitely a temp issue then. Sounds like you know what you're doing with the paste; hope that's where the problem ends for you.
So I applied but the issue wasn't solved. It seems as if my temp shoots up randomly as soon as my CPU's process goes up a bit also. I just can't figure out what's causing that though.. Either that or I just seriously don't know what is going on lmao im so clueless now
