Ok so there i someone who wants a editing PC, a mine craft server, and also a separate gaming PC for storage. Here are the ones they picked out:

Editing/rendering/minecraft server PC: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/vJNJm8

Storage/gaming PC:https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bqVtKZ

Would this configuration workout well with transferring the files between the storage PC and the rendering PC? Is there a better setup to go with?

Solution
1 tb of ram and only 240gb of storage space. 4 Firepros? Completely useless $300 network adaptors in each system? These are terrible builds.

He is better off with individual workstations for each person. Even if he spent $2000 on each one (which is alot) its still cheaper and better.

Those are two of the most insanely overpriced and overbuilt PC's I have ever seen.

How many minecraft players are they hosting? With a setup like that they could host thousands, its literally cheaper to lease server space. What are the editing and rendering? With a setup like that they could make the next Star Wars.

The Gaming PC won't game any better than a 6700k setup done for half the price. What games will they play? If its minecraft thats especially a waste.

Add whatever drives and accessories you want. But what do you need 64GB RAM for? :heink:
