Hello everyone, I've been planning to upgrade my current unit. The only thing that I'm concerned about is the power supply. Is Thermaltake SMART SE 730w 80+ Modular Power Supply good enough?

Here's my system specs:

-Intel Core i5 6400 (2.7ghz) LGA1151 Processor
-MSI B150m Night Elf Motherboard
-GSkills Ripjaws V 8GB (1x8GB) DDR4-2400mhz F4-2400 Memory
-Asus GT730 2GB DDR3 128bit Fermi Video Card
-Western Digital 1TB Sata 3.0 7200RPM Blue Sata 64mb
-Aerocool GT Black (Mid Tower Case) w/ Aerocool VX-500 500w PSU (No 6pin for PCIE) and Deepcool 120mm XFAN LED x2 (Rear and Side)

And does my rig can handle video cards such as MSI GTX950 Gaming 2GB DDR5 128bit or MSI GTX980Ti Gaming 6GB DDR5 384bit?

What PSU can you recommend to me? These are the only PSU's that are available right now on our local shop... Corsair VS550, FSP RAIDER 550W 80+ SILVER, and Gigabyte E570.

What brands should I choose? I've only got a little idea when it comes to PSU's and I'm just new to PC Gaming.

Seasonic and SuperFlower are among the best available. XFX(except the xt series), most Antecs are good, Evga (avoid the NEX, b, bq and b1 series), Corsair has some good ones and some to be avoided(VS, CS and the older CX models).

Where are you located I maybe able to make some reccomendations that are available in your area.

I live in the Philippines. And ordering online is really a pain in the neck here. That's why I always buy in local shops. I don't know if I can post any links here but this are the PSU available here. There are other PSU's not listed on that catalogue.

Thank you for the recommendations. I found an Antec VP550 near my location and it's on Tier 3 list. I might go for this if I couldn't find anymore PSU's above Tier 3.
