is this a good build?

Solution
If you ever think you will run another GTX 1070, for SLI, get an SLI capable board. If not, then ASRock Z170 Pro4 would be cheaper. That wifi adapter, that I chose, also has bluetooth. Your wifi connection is pretty slow. I would get a faster router and the gigabyte wifi adapter, if possible. Gaming over wifi is not really recommended, but sometimes I know you have little choice in the matter.

Ok, I'd start with this and work your way down from here. This is the best possible build I can think of that you could have without accounting for what type of display you would be using. But if somehow you manage to include all of this in a build, you'll be able to play Pong atleast 5 FPS strong... :)

few things to notice here.

You have chosen a B150M motherboard and an i5 6600k cpu, this motherboard does not support overclocking. in this case you should go for the i5 6500.
When you go for the i5 6500, you don't need an aftermarket cooler, since the i5 6500 comes with a stock cooler which is enough. Though the 20$ for the evo 212 is not a bad price at all, so it comes to personal preference in this case.

If you do want to overclock you should get a z170 motherboard, then the i5 6600k is worth it.

Ive made two list for you, one for overclocking and one not. Also ive added a ssd, which is definitely worth for booting up windows. Both pc's are good for gaming though! Both pc's will handle the game you mention fine, but Ark should be played at high settings and not Epic, I play this game myself on a gtx 1070 and the fps varies between 40-60. :)

Awesome! I'm going to go with the i5 6600k so I can overclock it.

Still would skip the overclocking.

Either to get a nice SSD.

I dont care about having to wait to load games atm. Maybe in the future I'll get a ssd but for right now I just want the 2tb hdd. As for the graphics card why would I need 8gb? isnt 6gb enough?

Okay, I rebuilt it with the new graphics card.

Here's two links. One is the i5 6600k gtx 1070 and the other one, is a i5 6500 gtx 1070

i5 6600k gtx 1070 link (planning on overclocking if I get this one): https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Owen_waldo/saved/BWbK8d

i5 6500 gtx 1070 link: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Owen_waldo/saved/7WbK8d

I changed the wifi card thingy to a smaller one because my wifi is only around 40 mbs. Also changed the case. On the i5 6600k gtx 1070 build is there a cheaper mother board?

Yeah, I can't really change the router (my dad gets mad when I mess with it). I was going to try to use ethernet. I don't really use bluetooth on my computer (I only use it for airdrop as its a mac).

Is this a good mb? https://pcpartpicker.com/product/43tWGX/asrock-motherboard-z170pro4
