Basically, I need a new motherboard with a memory and cpu upgrade.
I need 16 gb ram. I am leaning towards i7 processor but I may be swayed. Currently have an amd processor.
It needs to hold multiple gpus 2 currently. And a lot of hard drives currently 4.
I have a gigantic atx case so form factor isn't a big deal.
Preferably less than $500
Suggestions?
the most important thing is future proofing! I don't wanna have to upgrade this motherboard for a decently long time.
I also think somewhere around 2400ghz cas 9 or 1600 cas 8 or similar is good
Lastly, I'm pretty sure my current motherboard has an integrated sound card. I think it'll be more convenient to keep it that way.
