For light to normal content creation e.g. music, video transcoding, video/photo editing, rendering, etc., an i5 is your best pick.
I3 has only 2 physicla cores with HT, this is not as good as I5 with it's 4 physical cores.
FX6xxx and FX8xxx can handle more threads than those I3 but the single core performace is pathetic.
AMD FXs are also very energy inefficient.
For serious professionals, I would recommend an E3-1230V5 or i7 6700k or higher depending on your budget and need.
But for your case, I think an I5 6500 should be sufficient. No need to go further than i5 6600k/E3-1230V5, unless you are doing such serious stuffs commercially.
