Hey guys, I just bought the Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575G-53VG laptop with dedicated graphics and it has DDR4 8gb 2133 MHz / PC4-17000 Ram installed with and extra slot in the same channel. I purchased from crucial a compatible 4GB DDR4 2400 MHz / PC4-192000. I did not realize I had to match the Ram in other ways once it was marked compatible.

Will this function normally, or should I return the Ram for the correct 2133 MHz / PC4-17000.
I do not yet know the Motherboard type.

Solution
Even if it works, your laptop won't go higher as 2133 Mhz. Regarding Capacities, there should not be any issues.
You could try if it works, and in that case you won't need to change the RAM.
