Hello i want to ask which cpu is better for gaming.I7 6700k or 6800k.Please do not answer that save money and go with...Will newer games use more cores?I want pc for like 5 years.So i want to pay maybe more and have everything longer.Mybe i will do video editing but mostly daily things and school things and gaming and a little of video editing.So please do not say that save money and go with...

Games are pirmarily single threaded operations.Even with vulcan and dx12,they will never require so many cores,the upgrade path for the 6800k is limited and extremely expensive.There is virtually NO POINT in going for a 6800k.Go with the 6700k.Save money to reinvest in other components
