Dual 970s in SLI for one 4k and two 1080 monitors

Would dual Nvidia 970s in SLI run one 4k 32” widescreen and two 27" monitors in standard 1920x1080?
I'm setting up surround displays for flight sim.
What display settings on the Nvidia control panel would be best?
Would swapping the two 27" monitors for 23" make any difference?

No smaller monitors won't make much difference, its more about resolution. As far as if 970's will run a 4k at all thats debatable. A single 1080 has trouble with 4k sometimes and that's twice as powerful as a single 970, even two won't come close to that. Of course that's just gaming. I have no idea what kind of graphics requirements a flight simulator has. I imagine a lot but I just don't know.

But the simplest answer is will they all come on? yes.
Will they work well? depends.

And to be honest it probably will not look good anyway. 4k is 4 times the resolution of 1080p, so you would have one really good looking monitor and two crappy looking ones by comparison. Heck, I have a 1440p monitor and I think 1080p looks like garbage now...

Heck, I have a 1440p monitor and I think 1080p looks like garbage now. Aside from that you have a big 32" monitor and two smaller monitors. If you're going to go with a three-monitor display I would recommend 3 1080p widescreen monitors, as 1440p is still pretty expensive and 3 4k monitors that are any kind of decent would cost an arm and a leg. Plus 1080p is a lot easier on graphics cards.
