Best used processor under $70 USD?

Hello, what is the best used processor under $70 USD? Then Gen doesn't really matter. The price of the motherboard, will make my decision change depending on the price of it. Like the X58 Chipset Motherborad for example, it's the oldest X motherboard, but it's still $100+. So that will also factor in on my decision. I am however considering the i7-950, but for around the same price(including mobo) I can get an i3-6100. I know it will be easier to upgrade to next-gen on Skylake CPU. Thanks in advance!

Just get an i3 6100 + the cheapest motherboard and ddr4 you can find that is enough for you. The old i7 9xx and 8xx are great value (usually just 20 $) but the motherboards are still crazy expansive as the...

Just get an i3 6100 + the cheapest motherboard and ddr4 you can find that is enough for you. The old i7 9xx and 8xx are great value (usually just 20 $) but the motherboards are still crazy expansive as the 9xx used the lga 1366 socket which was aimed at the professional market.

I imagine you can pick up something like a Haswell i5 for reasonable sums. Motherboards should still be available new, but if you can track down someone selling a motherboard/chip/ram combo used you could get a lot of bang for the buck.
