Hello everyone!

My problem is, as the thread title suggests, my GPU's core clock speed sometimes dropping when I'm playing games. Making a lag spike. It's normally running on 1189-1006 MHz. And It's dropping to minimum, 405 MHz and increasing after 1 minute or when I do Alt+Enter or I restart the PC AND when Its increased, speed is locking to 876 MHz and dropping to 405 MHz again. I read a thing that problem may be the throttle and GPU saves Itself from "being cooked" but my GPU temp never crossed 60 celsius (I saw max 57) What can I do?
Specs:
CPU: Intel I5 6200U 2.3GHz up to 2.8 GHz
GPU: NVidia GT940MX 2GB 64 Bit (as the GPU and CPU suggests my pc is laptop)
8GB Ram.
Windows 10 64 Bit

What are you using to monitor your temps? 60'C on a mobile GPU seems really low.

The clock speed may drop if your CPU is getting hot too (simplisticly, it doesn't have to work as hard, as the CPU can't keep up anyway)

Are you monitoring your CPU temps?

I'm using MSI Afterburner to monitor. And I'm monitoring CPU temp too. It's like 70-75 celsius max in game. I'm also using GPU-Z to monitor too. It's the same with the Afterburner.
