So my motherboard Asus Maximus viii extreme won't seem to work. My case is enthoo evolve atx tempered glass. My first mistake was screwing motherboard into case without stand off screws, but my case has an area around the motherboard where it leaves space for the back. I got no signal from motherboard and nothing happens when I press start. I put the 4 pin cup connector on but still no bios OR POST in really stuck and would appreciate any help. So if my leds are on does that mean it is not dead?

UPDATE: replaced motherboard connected everything the same way and it posted so i turned it off and plugged fans in. as i was installing cpu water coller i briefly touched the back of the motherboard where the are a square of small connectors or capacitator what ever they are called. i plugged everything in and i got a post for a split second, psu made a clicking noise and post turned off, next time i tried i got no post just psu making clicking noise

your motherboard manual is https://www.manualslib.com/manual/989443/Asus-Maximus-Viii-Extreme.html
the led on your motherboard indicates power to it. it does not confirm all is well.
are you sure you got the connector for power properly jumped on your motherboard?
power connector is seen on this page https://www.manualslib.com/manual/989443/Asus-Maximus-Viii-Extreme.html?page=62&term=1-44&selected=1
make sure you did not connext it reversed (usually letters on connector visible from outside.)

UPDATE***

so I took it to micro centre and they built it, everything seems to work alright except that whenever my cpu gets around 60C my computer shuts off and turns back on. They forgot to send to power coard back for the psu so atm I am using a power coard for another psu.

I need to fix and know why my computer shuts off and turns back on randomly, drivers? BIOS issues??
