PSU question regarding longevity

Ya'll helped me pick up the trade of building computers a long time ago.

My first PCs are getting replaced as they have aged quite well. So my question is, would it be wise to reuse or to replace my 5 year old Corsair CX750 PSU?

The older CX line is not the best quality. PSUs do degrade over time, if I were you I would replace it. A degraded already not great PSU with all new stuff is a recipe for heartbreak.

Yeah, I lost a Dell to a faulty PSU, and vaguely remembered something about PSUs aging being an issue. This reaffirms my better judgement as I was going to do the latter. Thanks!
