Help upgrading low end GPU

I currently have a Galaxy GT 640 GPU and I'm looking for an upgrade for it.
I'm willing to spend roughly 100 and my current build is,
- AMD athlon 860k Quad core (3.7ghz)
- 8gb RAM
- 500w PSU
Suggestions for a reasonable GPU?

This is a DDR5 but I have a DDR3 mobo. Are they compatible?

Your gpu and cpu do not need to use the same type of ram.
