So I just finished building my gaming pc and as I'm getting things set up. I plugged an HDMI port and a Dual Link DVI to the gtx 1060 and when I opened the pc, it only popped up on the Dual Link DVI monitor and it didnt show on the monitor which is connected with an HDMI. So I said whatever and tried connecting the DVI to the motherboard CPU graphics and the HDMI to the 1060 but only the HDMI worked and the Monitor which is connected to the motherboard by DVI isn't detecting my pc?? How can I connect 2 displays to one GPU???

Solution
I believe for two displays to one GPU, you have to use DisplayPort. HDMI and DVI-D won't work. Neither will plugging one into the mobo and one into the GFX card.
